Our Favorite Dog-Friendly Wedding Venues In Minnesota / Wisconsin

Our Favorite Dog-Friendly Wedding Venues In Minnesota / Wisconsin

Dogs are family.

Which is why so many couples tying the knot nowadays are opting to have them included in their big day – whether it be just for the formal family photos – or to be a part of the ceremony as well  – – – there’s no denying it, man’s best friend is now an essential part of the modern wedding day. If you plan on having your furbaby / furbabies be a part of your “I Do’s” finding a venue that allows them to be present is a MUST. Here is a list of the dog-friendly venues we have personally photographed at here in Minnesota / right over the border in Wisconsin. While there’s probably plenty more (and we have no problem adding to this list) these are just our personal favorites here at Studio Twelve:52.

NOTE: Keep in mind most venues will only permit pups on property (outdoors) for formal images and the ceremony – Once food & beverage comes out, for health reasons, they are more than likely going to be asked to leave. So be sure to contact all venues you’re interested in prior and ask for their dog policies / restrictions. Some venues do permit pups inside on a case by case basis – so again, ask politely for their policy 🙂

Policies are always subject to change, so even if a venue has been listed here or on other dog-friendly lists – still be sure to ask, “Are you pet friendly?”

ALWAYS clean up after your pets – and keep them on a leash for their safety – your photographer will understand and likely be able to edit the leash out later.
